ucas Griffin returned to Port Gamble to get back his summer home, which was awarded to Emily Ruth in their divorce settlement. Now that she is dead, he knows that he will be the prime suspect in the murder. After he enlists Lila's help, the attraction between them is immediate, but Lila hesitates because she knows that Emily is trying to show her who the murderer is - and it could well be Lucas.
he Forever Summer
is a light romantic suspense, whose humor makes a reader laugh out loud. Though Lila and Lucas are attracted to each other right away, they're kept busy by the murder and trying to discover what Emily Ruth's ghost is trying to tell them. Suzanne Macpherson has a writing style that grabs the attention right away - and keeps it to the last page.
