Chaos: Uncharted Hearts #3    by Constance Fay Order:  USA  Can Tor, 2025 (2025) Softcover, e-Book     Reviewed by Hilary Williamson Though Chaos is third in Constance Fay's Uncharted Hearts series (and I missed the first two) I still enjoyed its constant fast-paced action, and steamy romance. The lead is space mercenary/engineer Caro Ogunyemi, whom we meet on a scout ship mission. Spaceship Calamity is captained by her friend Temper. Mission over, while the others are on leave, Caro (who never met a piece of tech she couldn't fix) takes on a rescue mission from the high security, luxury Shikigami prison, run by the deadly Pierce family. She gives herself up, is taken to Shikigami and chipped with a tracking beacon and explosive. There she finds super soldier Leviathan, whose chip makes him kill. With the help of AI android GR81, Caro rescues Levi, makes his chip inert - and falls hard for him. Together, they 'generate a lot of thermal energy.'
