But she knows how determined the man is, that once Jake sets his mind on a mission, he doesn't back down. The situation only gets more complicated once he's assigned as her bodyguard. Will Michelle be able keep their relationship at arm's length amidst the increasing chaos, which includes a secret she's terrified Jake will unravel?
alker returns with the third instalment in her
Black Knights Inc.
series, one that fans are gobbling up, but unfortunately a story that I found rather predictable in character and storyline. Jake was hard to warm up to; he doesn't come across as a man ready to turn his '
' life around. As for Michelle, she milked her big (and equally predictable) secret way too long given her '
espite this story's overall ho-hum flavour, Walker does a nice job setting things up for the next instalment that will feature two other Black Knights team members, Rock and Vanessa.
