ady Greville died leaving two sons and an infant daughter. Her neighbor, Amelia Greystone, dreads the day of the funeral because she must face Simon Grenville for the first time in ten years. Simon was everything that Amelia wanted, but when his brother died in an accident everything changed. He left her without a word, breaking her heart in a million pieces.
ut now Simon is back, a widower who needs consoling. Amelia must put it all behind her and struggle to help him and his children. Amelia has taken on the role of a housekeeper for Simon, knowing the past and what he has become now.
imon Grenville, Earl of St. Just, is a British spy, playing both sides in order to keep safe everything he holds dear. Amelia, a woman he once loved and cherished has returned and with her all his feelings (that have never changed) have come to the surface again. Simon understands he must keep his distance from Amelia because danger surrounds them. He must deny his feelings in order to keep her safe.
renda Joyce has done it again with her talent for creating a story to keep readers entertained for hours. She has melded two characters into one, in a heart gripping tale that makes me a fan all over again.
