She is writing a book on Irish folklore and needs a very rare volume called The Chronicles. Caroline knows the man who owns it, and they share some history. She embarks on a journey to find the book, ending up on Muirin Inish, an island where the owner resides in Dunmore castle. Caroline never expected to set eyes on him again. This man who once held her life - and her heart - in his hands, saves her life once again. Sir Grant Dunmore cannot believe his eyes when he pulls her from the surf, this woman he knew and desired many years ago, and placed in the way of danger. He has never forgiven himself for it, and lives like a hermit trying to reform. Grant feels he needs to protect the Lady Caroline from a secret plot in which he is involved, that could end up getting them both killed. But with the desire he still holds in his heart, now that she is here again, can he ever let her go? Lady of Seduction is a nice romantic story filled with intrigue, some action, and lots of steamy love scenes. I did enjoy the book, though I didn't find it totally gripping.
