Many of the Techs are becoming unstable, including Michael, and are slated for termination. Feeling betrayed by her father and desperate to save Michael, Cassandra tries to help him. But he's already abandoned her to join the other

The Legend of Michael
. The world building, the characters and the leads' romance held my interest, even though the
concept is getting redundant. The pacing is crisp and the plot rolls along, with a nice build up for a sequel. My only quibble: Michael and some of the super soldiers on both sides did a bit too much Alpha posturing, especially bad guy Adam and his minions, who came across as too Marvel comic bad guy for my liking.
