Deidre Chattan, daughter of a Scottish clan, is strong willed by nature in a world ruled by men. All she wants to do is follow her heart. By following that heart she ends up losing something precious that is designated the greatest sin. To atone for this sin, Deidre enters a nunnery and does all the tasks given to her, so this can be washed off her soul. She has been refused by the nuns to take her vows. Deidre has too much fire in her spirit to tame.

Quinton Cameron, a powerful highland lord, finds Deidre at the nunnery. He understands her spirit because it matches his own. A fierce strong man, Quinton is immediately drawn to her. He does not give two figs about her past. All he cares about is the electricity that is building between them.

They share a passion that is beyond anything they have ever known. Together they try and help protect the crown of Scotland. Alone together, the heat melts their hearts. Can these two find love? Can they overcome past hurts and regrets? Or is bed the only place they can be happy?

Well, let me tell you, what a hot book. Almost had to turn the furnace down in order to read it. But seriously, very well written. I enjoyed it immensely. I fell in love with Deidre and Quinton and the passion they have together. If you are easily offended by sexual content, this book is not for you. But if you like to turn up the heat, no matches are required because this volume will definitely light the flame.
