here has always been an attraction between SnowDancer lieutenant Indigo Riviere and pack tracker Andrew Kincaid. But as a dominant, high-ranking female, Andrew knows she must follow unbreakable wolf pack rules when choosing her mate. For the easy going yet determined Drew, rules are sometimes meant to be broken and one of them is showing Indigo that he is more than ready to help her shake off her icy, efficient and unbending exterior and expose the passion he knows is hiding underneath.
ndigo has never denied that she longs to find her true mate. But as one of the few dominant changeling females, she's prepared neither to bow to a dominant male nor to face the eventual resentment if she chooses a lower ranked wolf as mate. And she's not prepared to let down her guard during these dangerous times when the powerful Psy nation has all but declared war against all changelings. Thwarting the Psy's need to dominate all species is what she and Drew should be concentrating on, not romance.
rew knows full well the dangers the Psy and their minions present and he's more than ready to continue doing his part. Ending his campaign to win Indigo over though isn't part of the deal. She is quick to shut him down again and again, but eventually, and not without a little help from others within the pack, Drew the charmer begins his personal war to break down Indigo's emotional barriers one layer at a time.
