Daisy O'Dell has owned and run the Honky Tonk bar for the last five years, ever since the previous owner (Ruby) passed away and left it to her. She handles the crowd easily, permitting no fights in her saloon. Ruby's only rule - that no man should go into the apartment attached to the bar with Daisy - is okay with her; she does not need a man to make it.

Jarod McElroy has come to town to help his uncle, or so he thought. Uncle Emmett is cranky and argues with Jarod almost every time they talk. Jarod ends up at the Honky Tonk to escape the conflict for one night and literally crashes into Daisy after stepping in a puddle of beer. The sparks fly immediately and both are stunned. Jarod does not have the best luck with women, if you count his three relationship failures.

Though neither Jarod nor Daisy is looking for romance, they can't seem to stop thinking of each other. The more time they spend together, the more they want to be with each other. Other townsfolk are dying for them to get together since they can see the chemistry between them.

I Love This Bar is a small town feel good story that readers will love. The personalities are funny, warm, and close to each other. Supporting characters - like Chigger, Daisy's cousin Cathy, Uncle Emmett and many more - bring humor that will keep readers laughing. The next in the series, Hell Yeah, will also feature some of the characters from I Love This Bar.
