Paula, Belinda, Zora and Monet are the best of friends. They are there for each other - no matter the situation.

For instance: Paula is trying to salvage her marriage to Darryl, who she believes is having an affair. She also learns who her father is, which is something she has wondered about for years. Belinda struggles to build a relationship with her stepson TJ, who was dropped off at her doorstep by his mother Juanita, who is too busy to have him in her life. Things get further strained after TJ is involved in an accident.

Zora and Preston are newlyweds. Preston's dad is a preacher and he is feeling pulled to ministry too. Zora has her own issues: being adopted and seeking her real parents, dealing with students as a guidance counselor and learning she has a sister. Monet is dating Jeremiah. He wants to take things to the next level, but Monet is not so sure. The real test comes when she meets his family ... and ex-fiance!

The book includes a reading group guide (including how to contact the author to have her visit with your group). There is a list of scriptures specific to love. The value of friendship and the power of God's unconditional love are evident throughout The Truth About Love.
