As a girl, Taylor Young dreamed of marrying a handsome man, having children, and a beautiful home. Now at age thirty-six, living in Seattle, Taylor's dreams have come true. She has a handsome, wealthy husband, three beautiful daughters, and a gorgeous home. She is always up to date in fashions, hairstyles and local gossip. She excels in organizing fundraisers, charity events, and helping out at the girls' school. She is the alpha in her circle of friends and everyone considers her Mrs. Perfect.

Suddenly Taylor's world comes crashing down around her when her husband Nathan reveals a secret he has been keeping to himself for almost a year. Now everything she has known is threatened, and Taylor feels like she is in a bad dream. Gossip spreads fast in her social circle and she finds herself being ignored by friends. Dinner invitations have stopped coming in, no one wants to spend a vacation with them, and her husband is not the man she married. To top everything off, Taylor has been ousted from her position as Head Room Mom at the school by a woman she feels has never come close to being in the know.

Snubbed by her friends, forced to downsize everything in her life, to take on a new job and fight to keep her marriage afloat, Taylor finds help from the most unlikely person in the neighborhood. Now she has to re-think her attitudes towards friends, lifestyle, and what matters most. Mrs. Perfect is a feel good read. Readers become cheerleaders for Taylor as she struggles through the hard times to emerge as a beautiful person.
