Dr. Olivia Moore is outraged when she finds out that she has to share an apartment with Matt Ransom. Not only is he a competitor in the talk show circuit, but he's also an old flame. The radio station's budget will only allow one show to stay on the air. Since either Liv Live or Guy Talk has to go, the station bosses decided it would be a great publicity stunt to let listeners decide who to keep on - after the couple live together for 7 days and 7 nights, broadcasting from the tiny apartment on live web feed.

Matt Ransom is a typical bachelor, running from commitment. Burned once by Matt, Olivia refuses to fall for his charm again. Both are ambitious and neither wants to give up their show. But will living in such tight quarters cause fists or feet to fly, and will sexual temptations be overwhelming? Regular callers, Dawg and Jobeth, spice up the storyline by starting off competition between Matt and Olivia about who gives the best advice. Jobeth wants to get married and Dawg just wants to keep things the way they are.

This is a well written, witty and sensual story. You could almost hear the sexual tension crackle in some of the scenes. Olivia and Matt fall into the setup by the station's PR manager. I laughed out loud at some of the battles that arose, and I could feel the frustrations of Dawg and Jobeth in their parallel storyline, as each took the advice of radio personalities that they trusted. I couldn't wait to finish the book and Wendy Wax is an author to watch. I recommend 7 Days and 7 Nights as an engaging page-turner that will make you laugh.
