Lucas Allen is home from Kuwait for good. When he arrives at his ranch earlier than planned, Lucas finds Natalie Clark standing on his porch with a dead coyote at her feet and a pink pistol smoking in her hand. Not only that - she has a baby on her hip and three puppies cowering behind her. This was not the homecoming he expected! He looked forward to meeting Natalie after all their cyber-dating, but she definitely did not say anything about a baby.

Natalie was anxious to see Lucas after all this time, but it didn't go as planned. After seeing her on the porch he stomped right by her. Now she has one month to get Lucas to love the baby. Then Hazel (the housekeeper who had broken her hip) will return to take over. But Christmas is almost here and miracles do happen. Natalie hopes that a miracle will happen for her.

What a sweet love story; it, made me cry a couple of times. It has a whole lot of laughter and witty dialogue, with a Texas twang. I loved Natalie's character. She's a no nonsense kind of girl full of piss and vinegar. I also liked Lucas's family and their reaction to the baby. The Cowboy's Christmas Baby would make a nice stocking stuffer for the romance lover.
