Paige Holden is new to Baltimore and new to her job as a private investigator. Leaving Minneapolis and her many friends behind was difficult, but after witnessing a good friend's death and being threatened by men who should have been protecting her, she needed a new direction.

Her first case involves helping a Hispanic woman prove that her husband has been wrongly convicted of murder. When Elena Munoz dies in her arms from multiple gunshot wounds, whispering with her last breath that she's finally found the evidence to clear her husband Ramon - and that cops had framed him all along - Paige is horrified. Once again, she's being forced to face down dirty cops. This time, however, she swears she'll take them down - she just needs to find someone within the justice system she can trust.

Six years ago State's Attorney Grayson Smith put Ramon Munoz behind bars certain of the evidence against him. Once Paige shares the information on the flash drive that Elena died for, its contents cast serious doubt on the Munoz trial, and many others. Now Grayson and Paige must work together to unravel a growing list of murders and a decades-old secret that could shake up the entire Baltimore legal system.

Rose continues her Baltimore based series with panache and another deliciously twisty, convoluted plot. At times, situations get a little melodramatic and Rose's many characters tend to have a few too many gatherings to review information that's already been presented to readers. But as a whole, No One Left to Tell is another exemplary page-turner with myriads of intersecting plot threads and deep dark secrets, that tackles disturbing crimes ripped straight from the headlines. And let's not forget another pleasing and intense romance between leads Paige Holden and prosecutor Grayson Smith, who both have secrets of their own.
