Olivia Marconi is not having a good year; a black cloud seems to be hanging over her. First comes a divorce, then a failing business. And to top it off, the first time she decides she wants to have a little sex with her friend Sean, she gets turned down.

So Olivia decides to pack it all up, go to Italy, and figure out what to do with her life. But first she needs to tell her mom about all her failures and she is not looking forward to that. What Olivia does not expect is her friend Sean hopping on the plane with her. Being a chef, her huge crush on Sean sets Olivia off to cooking up a storm in Italy.

Sean has been pining for Olivia ever since high school. now that she is divorced he figures he might have a chance. He's a lawyer and, fate seeming to have a sense of humor, a client's job sends him to Italy, in the same area where Olivia is heading. So Sean looks for ways for them to be together and maybe heat things up just a notch.

Luscious is a hot and spicy kind of read. It's seductive, with pinches of witty dialogue that leave you wanting just a taste more and not just in the kitchen. It's quick and to the point with a little bit of mystery around the edges, totally enjoyable.
