Overwhelmed, she goes in search of her boyfriend and overhears him saying unsavory things about her. Samantha runs down to the safe in her father's den and removes a lantern. surprise, surprise - a genie pops out, a sexy, beautiful man who literally takes her breath away. Kal knows all about Samantha because of her late father, and he has wanted her for a very long time. She will be his last master, the one to set him free. What Kal doesn't realize yet is that he will be overwhelmed by his emotions towards her and that she is what he truly wishes for. But Kal has a code he has to live by, and live by it he will. As Samantha and Kal get to know each other they discover that all wishes come with consequences. Genie Knows Best is hilarious, with witty dialogue and a romance that makes your heart melt. Too bad we couldn't all have a genie in our back pockets. Judi Fennell has written an excellent mix of fantasy and romance that makes you unable to put her book down - I didn't.
