After her mother's death, Autumn Haven decides to take a trip to Vegas. Armed with her list of things to see, she is not prepared to meet up with Sam LeClaire. He throws her trip out of whack and the list is forgotten. Autumn ends up at a chapel and wakes up married to Sam. There is one problem though. Sam has left her, and when she returns home, she finds she is pregnant.

When Sam (a famous a Chinooks hockey player) finds out that Autumn is pregnant he demands a paternity test when the child is born. He has his lawyer contact her for the divorce and when the test shows that the baby boy is his, he sends child support. But he does not have too much contact with them.

Fast forward five years. Autumn is a successful wedding planner who is organizing the nuptials of Sam's teammate. It has been two years since she and Sam have seen each other but when they meet again the chemistry is still there. Sam does not want to be the kind of father that he grew up with, and has started spending time with his son Connor. Autumn does not want to keep running into him, because he has the same effect on her as in Vegas. But it seems that Sam is determined to show her that he is different now.

Rachel Gibson has a knack for creating a wonderful romance that includes humor and passion but is still touching. The characters send off sparks every time they meet, even when Autumn has been hurt and is not sure she can trust Sam. Any Man of Mine, which is from the author's Chinook Hockey series, will have readers dying to get their hands on Rachel Gibson's backlist.
