She has Crohn's disease and it hindered her ability to keep up with the fast paced business in the city. Now she is just trying to make ends meet by working part-time at her friend's book store. She is fairly content until a loud biker moves in next door and then she finds out he is Lucky Romo. Lucky has been gone for over fifteen years, and Tessa's friend Rachel is marrying his brother Mike. Lucky has not let anyone know he is coming back and does not want to contact his family. He remembers Tessa from high school and now the sparks fly between them. Tessa can't seem to keep her eyes off him and he has fallen in love with the hot stuff pajamas pants he has seen her in. Tessa was told by Lucky's brother Mike not to hang around with Lucky because he was in a bike gang. As much as Lucky appears the bad boy, Tessa has also seen his sensitive side and he seems to care about her when her illness flairs up. His past is catching up with him but will it tear him away from Tessa and also keep his family away? Whisper Falls is the third book in the Destiny series. Secondary characters include Rachel and Mike from Sugar Creek. The story can stand alone but reading the episodes in order gives a good feel for the small town of Destiny. Tessa and Lucky's sexual chemistry has you wanting to stay up all night long to see if they get their happily ever after. This small town romance is a great story to settle down with on a lazy weekend day.
