Sharlene concurs but tells him he needs to be finished with the addition by Thanksgiving.
olt is attracted to Sharlene right from the beginning. When she starts showing up at the house after she has nightmares from being in Iraq, he gets to know her even better. Sharlene has trouble sleeping and somehow Holt makes it easier for her to get a good night's rest. Sharlene gets the idea that taking Holt and the kids home to her parents' house will get her mom off her back for a while and stop her from threatening to find Sharlene a husband. The family does not know that she owns a bar. She knows she has to tell them soon but they will not be happy about it. Though the sparks between Sharlene and Holt are igniting, they are both in denial. Sharlene does not think she is the marrying kind. She loves Judd and Waylon but doesn't think she is ready to be a mother.
