Fern Michaels and three other writers contributed short stories to this collection that captures the romance of the season. Michael's Holiday Magic features ski shop clerk Stephanie Marshall who hopes to make enough money, including a Christmas bonus, to put a down payment on a house for herself and her daughters. Stephanie's handsome boss, though, has other plans that could change his employee's life forever.

In A Very Merry Christmas, Cathy Lamb's main character, B & B owner Meredith Ghirlandai, has a very busy holiday schedule with directing the town's Christmas concert and keeping her inn afloat. Local resident Logan Taylor would like to have Meredith schedule a little time with him too but she's supposedly sworn off any more relationships for a while. But perhaps the rugged rancher can find a way to change the attractive woman's intention of spending Christmas Eve without any male companionship!

A Very Maui Christmas by Mary Carter invites the reader to spend Christmas in the Hawaiian Islands with Tara Lane, who is determined to avoid another hellish holiday with her family by hiding out in Maui. A laid-back and attractive handyman helps Tara enjoy her vacation even though there's no snow or a fireplace to cuddle up in front of.

Josie Sullivan takes center stage in Terri DuLong's A Cedar Key Christmas. The single mother is delighted that her daughter Tess has helped a local fisherman restore his crumbling cottage. But Josie is even happier when she meets the man's nephew when he makes a visit. Her daughter's good deed is about to pay major dividends which, though unexpected, will be much appreciated.

All good fun, you'll enjoy these stories and the respite they will provide from the chaos of holiday shopping and other tasks!
