On The Steamy Side gives the reader an inside look at New York's celebrity restaurant scene - and what happens when a celebrity chef fails to deliver.

Lilah Jane Tunkle is tired of playing it safe. When a relationship turns sour, Lilah decides to quit her job as a teacher in Spotswood County, Virginia, and head to Manhattan. She needs a change in her life and some excitement, so has decided to room with a friend and look for a new job. Something out of her comfort zone.

Devon Sparks is a celebrity chef and restaurant owner. He left his home in Trenton, New Jersey, ten years earlier with a mission. To prove his father wrong. Now he has it all - a hit TV cooking show, restaurants, and a beautiful apartment. The only thing missing in his life is family and a solid relationship that lasts longer than one night.

After meeting the sexiest, most handsome man she has ever seen, Lilah decides to let go, and go home with him for the night. These two people, making an instant connection, never realized their lives would be changed forever. Lilah has never heard of Devon Sparks, and is not interested in his money or fame. When Devon's young son turns up unexpectantly, it is Lilah who teaches Devon how to forgive, love, and be a father.

On The Steamy Side is a fast paced, light romance, filled with Southern sass and sexual chemistry. A very entertaining read.
