Secrets of a Shoe Addict is a funny, witty story of four young women trying to get out of debt. It is chick lit at it's best. Abbey Walsh, Tiffany Dreyer, and Loreen Murphy are friends. Their children attend school together and play in the school band. On a trip to Las Vegas, with the children competing in a band competition, the women innocently get into trouble and their lives end up in turmoil.

Abbey is the wife of a minister but she has a secret past. Her husband is attentive, she adores her young son, and she has a beautiful home. Her past feels like it belongs to someone else until she meets up with Damon in Las Vegas. Just released from prison and broke, he confronts Abbey and demands an old debt be repaid. He knows where to find her and and plans to visit her family if she doesn't pay up.

Loreen is going through a divorce and is working hard to support herself and her young son. She is lonely and misses married life, so she is flattered when a much younger, good looking man approaches her in the casino. He knows exactly what buttons to push and before the night is over Loreen is upstairs sipping champagne and romancing this young stud. Later, Loreen is shocked to find out he is a prostitute and she owes him money for the evening.

Tiffany is happy to be in Las Vegas even though money is tight for her family. Her husband works long hours so she can stay at home with their two young children. Tiffany loves clothes, and with her model figure, everything looks good on her. After a few hours of shopping she has maxed out her credit card and has designer clothes that will not fit into her lifestyle at home.

All three women are in need of quick cash to get their lives back on track. Tiffany's sister Sandra knows just how to help. It's legal and it has kept her shoe addiction going for some time. She holds a meeting at her apartment and introduces the others to a future in the phone-sex business. Secrets of a Shoe Addict has it all - friendship, romance, affairs, revenge - and as you read you will be cheering these women on.
