Containing '100 adaptable discussions starters to get teens talking,' this book is comprised of stories to be used with youth groups. The passages are on timely, relevant topics and are linked to Bible verses. They are designed to 'help you connect God's big story with young people's in-built sense of story,' which is the most prolific art form.

The passages are composed of four sections: Discussion Trigger (a brief story), Opening Up (questions related to the story to start a discussion), Digging Deeper (questions tied to the main theme to guide the conversation) and Taking it to the Work (questions for Bible study to wrap up the passage).

The book is divided into four sections: 1) True Stories: real events from the news (example of topics: racism, Internet pornography, fashion, virginity and drugs); 2) Teen Issues: semi-fictional and based on real events (example of topics: music piracy, peer pressure/drugs, violent video games and divorce); 3) Famous Names: about celebrities (example: Jack Osbourne, Al Gore, Saddam Hussein, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates); 4) The Bible in 25 Steps: an overview of key Bible events aimed specifically at Christians.

It is not always easy to engage teenagers in a discussion, but these discussion starters bring topics to which it will be easy for teens to relate. The passages help make the Bible a little more relevant to today's youth.
