After some time in its making and creation, Strangeways: Murder Moon written by Matt Maxwell and illustrated by Luis Guaragña and others, is now available for graphic novel fans from the small comic book press Highway 62. Murder Moon features haunting black and white artwork with a somewhat blurred detail that lets the imagination run riot.

The year is 1868, and it's the old West in the Colorado Territories. This is a Western tale involving a werewolf - strange to say the least - but coupled with this is the small town of Silver Branch, with old and traditional values that resist change. So when the bodies start piling up, the mob looks for the easiest scapegoat to blame. Yet ex-army officer Seth Collins knows something about what is going on and it's up to him to stop this werewolf once and for all, before the mob begins killing innocents.

Strangeways: Murder Moon features impressive original artwork that precisely captures the scene and mood of the story, coupled with script and dialogue that add to its visual feel, the result being an entertaining old West tale about a werewolf.
