Kids are playing at the park, when storm clouds move in. Rather than running for shelter, the children embrace the rainy day and engage in all sorts of imaginative play; only the presence of lightning brings them indoors. 'I'm a flower in a shower. Splashing, splishing. Look! We're fishing! Make a boat. Watch it float. A leaf's a cup. Fill it up.' The collage-like style of artwork adds a touch of jubilance to the already pleasant storyline in Rain Play.
