Bruce Monson reads 'A down-on-his-luck private eye awakes with a beautiful naked blonde in bed with him. Who is she? Why is he sharing a bed with her? Why can't he remember where he is ... or worst of all. WHO he is?' Shades of Mickey Spillaine! But that is where the similarities end. White Metal Murders has a convoluted plot with enough action to keep the reader awake all through the night. Murder, of course, raises its ugly head - not once but twice. A big-time drug lord skirts the fringes. A young lady in red keeps the story - and the PI - interested as well as interesting. An extremely clever sub-plot and red herrings emerge as the pages fly by. This is a very worthy effort for anyone - but especially for someone whose imagination just won't quit even though his body has. Monson has been confined to a respiratory hospital for twelve years with complications from muscular dystrophy. He has written three Action/Adventure novels.
