Actress and designer Jane Seymour shares a shortened version of her early life as she explains how she decorated and continues to redecorate her home. She hopes to share the fun and discovery of designing with her readers.

Mixing styles and creating welcoming gathering spaces helped Seymour to renew the house she bought in Malibu from the dark, gothic, horror movie set that it was to a lovely inviting home. Filled with color photos of everything from kitchen cabinets, miscellaneous furniture, and collections, to a vase of sunflowers, Seymour's style is eclectic and creative.

She often shares the thoughts she gave to many of her decisions, room by room. Inspiration comes from everything. Her children, nature, paintings, and family needs, to name just a few.

She touches on finding treasures at garage sales, presenting collections, and making tablescapes out of the things we love but have packed away because we're at a loss as what to do with them. Her advice is to have fun with your decorating and remember that there are no rules.

This original book has a lot to offer whether you're beginning to decorate a new space or renewing a room you've lived with for years.
