The diary begins with a brief history of the origins of the sudoku craze in Britain. Puzzles are at four levels of difficulty: easy, moderate, tough, and of course diabolical. Weeks alternate between easy/tough and moderate/diabolical choices. Each week takes two pages, with space for Monday to Sunday entries on one and two puzzles on the page beside it. At the back of the book is a one page summary of European holidays for the year, all the solutions to the puzzles, and a couple of blank pages for jotting down notes. The Daily Telegraph Sudoku Diary 2008 makes a perfect gift for anyone who enjoys logic puzzles, and especially for the myriad of people who already spend leisure time with sudoku challenges.
