One can always count on Carolyn Hart for a well-planned, fast-paced mystery that keeps the reader guessing until the last pages. Set Sail for Murder is no exception. Fun, suspenseful and a tiny bit flirtatious, Henrie O meets her challenges with fortitude and a bravado one has come to expect of her.

We travel to the Baltic for a cruise with an old flame of Henrie O's to look for a potential murderer among a woman's step-children. It's tricky setting this all up – but Hart's skills never miss a beat as she arranges all with an adeptness that does her proud.

Jimmy Lennox appeals to Henrie O to help him prevent the murder of his wife Sophia. Odd happenings have convinced him that Sophia is in immediate danger. She is the administrator of a trust fund that fuels her step-children's financial well-being - as well as their anger. Henrie does not want to get involved, but feelings for her old flame override her misgivings.

Set Sail for Murder is an easy read that is hard to put down. In addition, the flow of the Baltic countries through the narrative makes a nice armchair travelogue for the would-be journeyer.
