Professor Spydelle and his lovely wife Shirley have taken in the Shluffmuffin twins. Their dad is hanging around outside rotting. Fortunately, Professor Spydelle is fascinated that their dad is a zombie and thinks he has a way to help him. The Professor has invented something called the Elixir of Life which he has only used twice before. Those times were not totally successful, but he loves his wife Shirley so much, he's glad to still have her at his side even though she is now a giant spider.

Will the elixir revive the twins' zombie dad? It does and it doesn't. He's no longer a zombie, but he's still not exactly alive. Fortunately, vampires smell better than zombies. Unfortunately, dad keeps looking at the twins like they'd make an excellent snack. Meanwhile the Mandible sisters haven't given up on finding Wally and Cheyenne. They desperately need the twins' bodily fluids to feed the larvae in the basement.

Full of off-beat humor, The Vampire's Curse ends on an upbeat note, but with a promise of more mayhem to come in the next installment.
