As well as a booklet, the kit includes an erasable marker, Cranium clay, a sand timer, 25 game cards, a die, a game piece, and a slide-out Mini Letter Line-Up game board. Themed plasticized pages marked RW (rewritable) can be written on with the purple pen and then erased for another go. Places marked 'Find a Friend' are meant to be worked on together with a buddy. Word Worm's pals - Creative Cat, Data Head and Star Performer - introduce their own styles of activities. Word Worm starts off with Birthday Bash - fill in an invitation for a VIP to attend your V.I.B.P. (very important birthday party) - while Star Performer throws in a Song-O-Matic. Further activity themes include Out of this World, Silly Superheroes, Dream House, Weather Watcher, At the Movies, and Road Trip. Super Sign-In Pages at the back encourage friends and family to answer questions about themselves, such as 'What's your favorite place to read?' This portable Word Worm Big Book of Outrageous Fun! (aimed at ages 7 and up) offers friends and siblings hours of engagement via creative activities to explore and enjoy together.
