The lime green cover of In Control is enough to spark interest. The words, 'No More Snapping at Your Family, Sulking at Work, Steaming in the Grocery Line, Seething in Meetings, Stuffing Your Frustration' are printed on that green cover.

That should be enough to make you pick up the book and open it. The wisdom you'll find within makes the small effort worthwhile. The authors, if you follow their suggestions, can make your life more pleasant, more rewarding, and definitely more interesting. Your social skills are explored as well as your dealings with fellow employees.

Family lives can be enriched with children as well as with your partner. Case studies are used to emphasize how to improve interactions with family members. Redford Williams admits he is an explosive reactor and details methods he used to improve his relationship with Virginia. Virginia Williams realizes now that she is a stuffer, subjugating her feelings to keep life on an even keel. Now, at work as well as in home life, she has learned to assert herself in situations she might have bowed to before.

I think we all have areas in our lives that we would like to improve. Seriously improve. Not to just use a band-aid but to seek a well thought out solution and to work to make that solution a part of our everyday lives. Life is not easy. In Control can help to make that life easier and more satisfying.
