Baby Bear's Chairs is a sweet picture book for the youngest of children. It takes us through a day in the life of a little bear, who is always trying to keep up with the bigger folks in the family. There are different chairs of different sizes in the house, including those for eating and playing. 'Yet still, of all the chairs, the best is when I lie on Papa's chest, or cuddle up to take a nap upon the chair that's Papa's lap.'

Yolen is the author of numerous children's books, including the popular collection, How Do Dinosaurs ..., and many readers will recognize Sweet's delightful illustrative style from James Howe's Pinky and Rex series. This is a bedtime book that will be enjoyed by parents and children alike. Its playful and colorful illustrations are sure to capture the attention of young children.
