This small volume includes: story problems (shark coded for difficulty level); dilemmas with no single right answer; 'what's wrong with this picture?'; 'which is your worst case?'; 'what's the worst it could be?'; and essential information lists. A worst case fact ticker continues along the bottom of all the pages, and there's a Survival Aptitude Test to take at the end. Illustrations clarify survival scenarios like 'Dumpster Dive'.

Reading this survival guide, I learned all sorts of useful tips and tricks, like how to recognize a black widow spider, break down a door, climb out of a well, remove leeches, deal with dehydration, and the best position to assume when caught in a lightning storm. I even found out what to do with an out of control camel - believe it or not, I have been on an out of control camel in the Aussie outback and could have used this insight.

Given the state of the world lately, you might want to take The Worst-Case Scenario Book Of Survival Questions seriously. Alternately you can enjoy it as an armchair survivalist, or simply use it for word games with a group of friends.
