James Luceno has skillfully written the text of this Visual Dictionary for the Revenge of the Sith, which completes the Star Wars circle of films. The Introduction sets forth in words, 'Revenge of the Sith is a tale forged in chaos, informed by deceit, betrayal, heartbreak, and the death of heroes. A Story almost thirty years in the making, and one that will be told and retold here, and in galaxies far, far away ...'

The book jacket's stand-out photos on a white background catches bookshelf attention, and centers the formidable General Grievous with notes pointing to his 'sallow reptilian eyes', 'ultrasonic vocabulator', and 'Kaleesh warlord mask'. Contents of this imposing, oversized book of photographs and stills include the 'Galactic War', 'Separatist Ground Forces', 'Utapauns', 'Wookie Weapons', and 'Darth Vader'. The Dictionary displays weapons such as the Bloodshine Sith Blade, and the Clone Trooper DC-15 Rifle, along with famed droids Asajj Ventress, R2D2, and NR-N99 Tank Droid.

Impressive life-size visuals of cast members include Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, the 'Secret Fraternity', stately Mace Windu, and Padme Amidalla. A two-page, full-length photo of the Trandoshan, Tarfful, is magnificent. The Force is vigorously with Star Wars Revenge of the Sith: The Visual Dictionary, a must-have for fans of all ages.
