They scream and break things, while their teacher keeps trying to apply sweetness and light to the situation. When they finally do take in the 'In kindergarten we share ... everything' lesson, they take it to heart ... and Amanda's pink pants on Jeremiah sends their teacher into shock. Which of course gives the story that tinge of rebellion and one-up-man-ship that kids love. And there's a useful message for parents and teachers too, to be careful what they say to literal little ones.
