' lesson, they take it to heart ... and Amanda's pink pants on Jeremiah sends their teacher into shock. Which of course gives the story that tinge of rebellion and one-up-man-ship that kids love. And there's a useful message for parents and teachers too, to be careful what they say to literal little ones.
