If you are looking for fun ideas to break up the boredom, Stuff 2 Do fits the bill. Readers will surely find many appealing activities among the fourteen chapters full of suggestions for parties, crafts and recipes. Scripture references are included.

The first chapter, 'Party Time!' offers party themes and tips for planning each fun event. 'Holiday Happenings' discusses special ways to celebrate holidays. There are chapters on gift making, things to do with your mother, things to do with your father, money-making ideas, and friendship building, along with many others. A fun addition at the end of the book is a month-by-month listing of special days. Did you know that January 8th is Bubble Bath Day? February 12 is Pancake Day? Come up with your own ideas for things to do involving the theme of each day!

Stuff 2 Do is written particularly for girls ages eight to twelve. When I shared the book with two ten-year-old girls at my church, they pointed out many things they would like to try. For example, the girls liked the suggestions for making gifts, and the friendship box especially appealed to them. It involves wrapping a shoe box, the lid wrapped separately. Then a small present (like a pack of gum) is placed in the box, and the entire thing is given to a friend. She keeps the gift, and then places another gift inside and gives it back to you the next month. The girls I spoke with decided to start this project between the two of them.

Stuff 2 Do makes a wonderful gift for any young girl on your shopping list. The activities are tons of fun and should keep a person entertained for hours. The ideas are fresh, not the same old stuff to do, with appeal to a wide range of girls.
