Such a Good Mom
, Brynn Nelson truly believes she is not. She seems to have it all in her home on Martha's Vineyard - a healthy new baby son, a devoted husband (Ross), and supportive and caring in-laws. It's very hard for Brynn though as she's suffering from postpartum depression and an infant who never seems to sleep. Also, Ross seems preoccupied and isn't giving her the breaks she so badly needs.
H
er life turns upside down when young Cecelia Buckley, a family friend who also worked in the family business, is washed ashore and the police believe it's murder. Soon, Ross is arrested - and there's strong evidence against him. Before his arrest, Ross was looking into corruption in the family's development business - he leaves Brynn a key clue to his innocence ('
the orange sun
') but she doesn't know what it means, and wonders can she trust him?
D
ealing with her feelings about her new motherhood and doubting Ross, Brynn still investigates, and she does ultimately discover who is - and is not -
'such a good mom'!
