Its lovely watercolor illustrations entice the reader in to turn the pages. Children on a beach wonder 'Do they sleep in the ocean or near a reef? / Or do they swim below rocks and hide underneath?' Answers are given in (at times awkward) verse as well - for the stingray, octopus, seahorse, walrus, clownfish, bottlenose dolphin, parrotfish, sea turtle, sea otter, humpback whale, and great white shark. The authors end with a 'Good night' to their young readers and a comment about the importance of sleep for 'the energy you need to grow, learn, laugh, and play' - an important reminder for us all!
