The Silent Conspiracy follows Network as the second in an escapist conspiracy thriller series by L.C. Shaw. The first episode introduced investigative reporter Jack Logan and the love of his life (who had married a U.S. Senator) television producer Taylor Parks. They ended up on the run together from the Institute, a secret organization that mind-washed figures in high positions of power.

Two years later, as The Silent Conspiracy opens, super-villain Damon Crosse is believed to be dead, and Jack and Taylor treasure their young son Evan. This episode opens on a kind soccer mom inexplicably committing horrific violence, before killing herself - in front of her son. Similar murder/suicides continue, all by model citizens who are not on drugs. Jack sees a pattern, investigates, and finally consults his estranged brother-in-law Scotty, who works for the FBI.

Meanwhile, Taylor is producing a documentary on a class action suit that has made it to the Supreme Court. It's about an insurance company, that is discriminating based on age, disability, religion and pregnancy. Readers soon know that Crosse faked his suicide, is pulling the strings behind the production, and has made contact with Evan. What is his end game? It seems to have something to do with ancient coins with a healing/rejuvenation power.

Events in Greece significantly affect the outcome - and Taylor, who learns more of her own back story. Tension escalates to a cliffhanger of a conclusion, with Evan kidnapped and Jack in serious trouble. Can Taylor save the day this time? We'll have to wait for the next episode to find out.
