She not only provides excellent care for the animals in her practice but also has managed to solve some nasty crimes. And here she goes again. Dr. Turner meets an elderly woman at a fair in her Hudson Valley town. Later learning of the woman's murder, she remembers a comment the lady made – 'Someone evil is here. I saw him.' Taking that comment to heart, Kate starts investigating the woman's life and friends. Using that information, she is soon hot on the trail of her killer. Think of this book for a moment. Not only is there a murder but also lots of animals and their treatments. Throw in a touch of humor and here is a book for the masses. Enjoy it. I certainly did.
