Decorator Erin Gilbert fell in love with a little, charming bungalow in Crestview, Colorado. So cute and homey looking. She couldn't wait to get her skilled mind and hands on the interior. Already she was conjuring ideas for a makeover. Her dreams of a great job fell to the floor with a thud when she walked inside.

Every flat surface was covered with bric-a-brac, papers, and junk by the barrels full that the owner just couldn't throw out. The worst part of this conglomeration of unwanted things was the fact that the owner, Helen, was convinced she was being stalked by a serial killer – feeling that any one of her nosy friends and neighbors might be to blame!

Erin straightened her shoulders, took a deep breath and decided that she could do this. She would do the makeover even if her main competitor stuck his nose in her job. Even if he was absolutely the most irresistible man on earth.

Erin was beginning to believe her new employer, that someone was out to get her. Could there be something in all the clutter that would prove valuable?
