Obtain a copy of Law and Vengeance by Mike Papantonio, find some free time to indulge in a wonderful story, and put a Do Not Disturb sign on your door. Gina Romano is a criminal trial lawyer. She truly believes in American justice. When her law partner and former lover is murdered and she is almost killed, she is out to get the person responsible if it takes her last breath. The storyline races on as she gathers the information she needs to convict the multi-billion dollar company putting out faulty product under a government contract. People are dying because of this and the company denies culpability. As readers, we witness the trial as well as the witnesses who testify. We meet the people – police, soldiers, and loved ones of those who died using the defective sight on weapons – and become, almost, spectators at the trial. Papantonio is, in fact, a lawyer with a very impressive background. He is a senior partner at Levin Papantonio, one of the largest plaintiffs' law firms in America. He has received honors for his trial work in behalf of consumers – oh, for heaven's sake, I could list all of his accomplishments but what you are really interested in is his book. Or should I say books? Treat yourself today. Read this well-written novel, and its predecessor, Law and Disorder. Then pass them on for your friends' enjoyment.
