or the many, many fans of Robert B. Parker who were saddened by his death – author Reed Farrel Coleman has picked up the reins and continues in Parker's style of writing. And he does a very good job of it.
Debt to Pay
, Parker's voice is once more heard. This new mystery continues the Jesse Stone series. Jesse's ex-wife is about to re-marry – a Dallas real estate tycoon. But she must first talk to Stone about her plans. Stone is seeing former FBI agent Diana Evans. He feels as though this is the woman he has been looking for all his life.
nfortunately, there is a stumbling block in the way for both women. And that is Mr. Peepers – a relentless adversary who has, in the past, crossed Stones' path with disastrous results. Mr. Peepers is adamant that he will make Stone pay for what he considers to be transgressions against him.
