This beautifully designed novelty book will fulfill a number of holiday roles for the entire family. Not only can this volume serve as an advent calendar but hidden behind the many flaps found on each page you'll also discover all sorts of interesting facts about Christmas and how it is celebrated around the world.

The opening two page spread focuses on the U.S. and Canada. And the flaps here not only indicate the dates of Kwanza (December 26 to January 1) but inform us that after a delicious roast turkey Christmas dinner, many residents of Canada celebrate Christmas day by pulling Christmas crackers and donning special holiday hats.

As you page through this nicely illustrated book you'll also discover that in Nigeria, Africa, the Calabar Carnival is a part of the Christmas celebration; and in Holland children leave their clogs out for Saint Nicholas to fill with goodies, and a carrot is also placed where Santa's horse can find it.

Far distant across the sea in the Philippines, a parol, a star shaped lantern which is a symbol of hope and goodwill, is used as a decoration during the Yuletide season.

For years to come, Walk This World at Christmastime will be one of those special books you'll want to place on a family room table to share with family and guests during the days leading up to Christmas.
