Her photographer, Doug Miller, is a man she is interested in but somehow their relationship is off kilter. Turns out that Doug is keeping a big secret about himself from her.

While she searches D.C. for people she wants to interview, she ends up on the scene when a man is shot to death. A tipster who has information about her boss is dragged out of the Potomac with rocks in her pockets. The First Lady wants to talk to Lark and reveals a closely guarded secret. And to top it off, Doug disappears from a News Correspondents Dinner!
