He doesn't really look like a chicken as much as a large yellow blob with pointed teeth, a large nose and droopy eyes, but no matter. Mr. Chicken loves to travel and one of his favorite haunts is London.

In this humorous book the reader accompanies Mr. Chicken as he visits the British city. From his base at the Savoy Hotel the big bird plans his adventures. It will be a full day with a visit with the Queen for tea and then stops at St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Big Ben and the London Eye.

As young readers follow along, they will not only learn about London's major attractions but they'll also be able to follow a map to see where the sites are located. Traveling with Mr. Chicken is certainly an experience and not one your child will soon forget.

Not only would this book be a good way to introduce a child to a major foreign city, but if you have plans of visiting London in the future, use this book to show your children what they will be seeing on the trip.

The illustrations here are amusing and, over all, you'll agree, I think, that this is a totally brilliant picture book and one your child will enjoy for years to come.
