City Kitty loves driving a taxi in a big city. 'My city cab is pretty fab!' he says. This kitty is happy until one day some animals from Africa hire him to drive them to the airport because they are ready to fly home.

After talking with the animals, City Kitty realizes he's never left the city and wonders if perhaps he should see another part of the world. Making a quick decision he boards the plane and is off to a totally new environment.

How fun! Although he likes his new friends and finds the jungle, plain and swamp interesting, City Kitty realizes he misses his home in the city. Saying goodbye to the giraffes, zebras, alligator and elephants, City Kitty gets back on the plane to fly home.

Of course the message here is obvious – 'There's no place like home!' And now City Kitty knows it.

Children three or four years of age will love accompanying City Kitty on his adventure. You'll also discover this book reads well aloud and the illustrations capture enough action to keep the youngster returning to the book again and again.
