'Ducky's in his house
On a wet, rainy day.
In comes Peep, yelling,
'Ducky, want to play?'
'

Of course the answer is a resounding, 'Yes!' At first the two friends play in the house but after a making a tent with chairs and a blanket, and a pillow fight, the friends decide it might be more fun to go out and play and the rain.

Wearing their wet weather gear and taking an umbrella, Ducky and Peep head outdoors but the wind blows them across the yard and they end up in a little pond. Then the thunder scares them and they scurry inside again.

Of course, when Peep's mother arrives to take him home, the day is over and both friends are unhappy but there will be other play days in the future. This rhymed narrative captures the fun and describes what good friends Ducky and Peep are.

You'll have fun reading this story aloud and watching the two buddies spend their rainy afternoon together. Isn't that what being friends is all about?
