Here's a very good book on how to develop a small business. Even if the reader (10 years and older) isn't interested in actually becoming a youthful entrepreneur, this resource has solid information on managing money, marketing and communications, and customers and competition.

Fun Facts are sprinkled throughout the book and provide additional information about folks like Elon Musk, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, and Seth Priebatsch, a youngster who made $500 in one day selling lemonade.

Relevant vocabulary words are also highlighted as are primary source apps that can be scanned for more detailed information.

Of course the hands on projects will give the reader the chance to try his/her hand at actually creating a business calendar, conducting a brainstorming session or designing a logo.

There is lots of general material about the business sector as well as specific ideas on how to launch a small business in this book, which makes it a good resource for both teachers and parents. The young entrepreneur will find this a fun, entertaining read too!
